In 1927 a small group of black men and women met on the south of town at a location called the "Ditch Bank" for weekly prayer meetings.

Reverend McDuffet was invited to preach. He organized the church in 1929.

 

In 1950 two lots were purchased from Naples Company and the church was erected at the corner of 3rd Avenue North and 10th Street North.

Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church is one of the oldest churches in Naples, Florida.
